This article provides a summary of the relationship between Informative Influence Ii and the game dynamics in live Texas Hold’em for every phase of the spot. 

The stages of a Texas Hold’em live poker spot from the perspective of Communication Theories

From the scientific elaboration of the Skill Poker Index, the author defines a new model to describe the four phases of the spot, fundamental also from a strategical point of view:

• Pre-flop: Classification of opponents;
• Flop: Narrowing of the range;
• Turn: Drefinition of the situation;
• River: Rectification/confirmation.

Classification of opponents

It’s the first stage of the spot, pre-flop, where the amount of information available to the parties involved is smaller, but sufficient to assess the characteristics of the opponents involved in the action. Poker mathematicians refer to elaborate tables on the relationship between position behavior and equivalent combinations. By the new paradigm, instead, we will proceed to draft an imaginary card mentally grouping the different characteristics of the opponents involved.

Narrowing of the range

On the flop, the mathematician will immediately wonder how the flop hit the opposing range and by virtue of this calculates its EV compared to the pot. While, with the new paradigm, we proceed to a process of signification, wondering what the combination expressed by the flop actually means for the opponents. At this point on the board the information acquired will offer many interpretations of the situation and the skill to define it begins to make the difference between competitors. Definition of the situation 

Is the phase in which, after the round of bets on the flop, the dealer collects the pot and proceeds to reveal the turn.
