Another basic component of the organizational asset of a company that organizes Texas Hold’em live poker events is the Booking Department.
Margherita Basile got to know the Poker Social Enterprise project and, as soon as she had clear concepts of corporate’s “mission” and “vision”, she was immediately impressed, because she could see the multiple opportunities for growth and the deep benefit that this project could bring to Poker Business.
Which carrier did you go for and why?
The one of Booking Manager. During the interview with the All In Channel E. & C. CEO, based on the experience gained in the sector, we agreed that this would be the perfect career for me. I love the idea of collaborating to organize a unique experience for players. Besides this, during the interview I discovered a particular interest in digital marketing and I decided to attend an individual training course as Digital Marketing Specialist at the Volta Institute.
In your opinion, can the Poker Social Enterprise project really contribute to improving the working conditions of live poker?
Without any doubt and for various factors. First of all, the possibility of training and professionalization in various fields ranging from professional journalism to social media managing and this leads us directly to the second factor: continuity. The routine of a Dealer/Floorman is to work during the stop, remaining completely inactive while waiting for the next one. The Poker Social Enterprise gives you the opportunity to monetize your social and cultural capital, allowing you to actively participate in the communication plan , thus giving continuity to the work and income, with MONTHLY frequency.
What impact do you think it can have for a Dealer, managing a table exclusively composed of Pro players?
Everything changes: the level of attention of players that is always constant, as well as their knowledge of every little facet of the rules is impeccable. The game flows fast, clean and tidy. Do not forget that the preparation of the Dealer must be impeccable.
