Fabio Abbruciati Interview
A major project needs great interpreters, and our aim is get you to know them, because their role will be decisive. Today we’re gonna chat with Fabio Abbruciati and we want to find out how he got in touch with Poker Social Enterprise and, above all, what aspects convinced him to take part. Initially through Marcello Caloro, who contacted me for a first presentation, then I deepened with dott. Pietro Semeraro, founder of the project. I immediately appreciated that it was focused on training professional figures who, in addition to working as a dealer in the event, will have the opportunity to cover the pivotal roles that relate to the communication plan, monetizing their wealth of knowledge.
Which carrier did you go for and why?
The journalistic one. I’m a very curious and empathetic person, I think that’s what led me to choose this path. All In Channel Entertainment & Communication S.r.l. offers the opportunity to build various careers, essential to the digital marketing strategy tailored to the project. Thanks to the newspaper owned, I will follow a training course lasting two years, at the end of which I will be able to direct the choices towards the career of freelance journalist or professional journalist.
In your opinion, can the Poker Social Enterprise project really contribute to improving the working conditions of live poker?
Absolutely yes, because the dealers will have the opportunity to work in a very different way from the traditional one: that is, in addition to specializing in new professional figures, necessary for all live poker organizations, the profits will be divided at the end of the event and the distribution will be in percentages, based on the tasks carried out both as a dealer, and those related to the communication plan for the material realization of the event.
What impact do you think it can have for a Dealer, managing a table exclusively composed of Pro players?
In my opinion it will bring a more serene atmosphere, as the Pros are focused only on the game and do not like wasting time. It will also require a good level of preparation of the dealers regarding regulations and procedures, as professionals know the game in all its facets, which they often use to their advantage. Such as, for example, the minimum raise, the reopening of raises and various rulings that often between the amateurs are irrelevant.
